Live broadcast on August 4 recently, the Ukrainian Football Association announced on its official website that it had sent an official letter to UEFA requesting that Russia’s existence in the European football league institutions be considered.
The letter said: “The Ukrainian Football Association drew attention to the fact that the Russians were elected and re-elected to the position of the UEFA administrative agency (committee, agency and group) in 2023 until 2027. At this time, it was the time when Russians committed cruel war crimes, and aggression occurred in Ukraine every day.”
“In order to uphold the humanitarian values and justice inherent in the European football family and ensure the consistency of Uefa’s mediation stance in supervising Russian representatives to participate in European football, we request that you carefully consider the situation and study the possibility of removing representatives of terrorist countries from Uefa.”
