Live broadcast on August 4th News in an interview with Wang Xiaorui, a reporter from Sports Weekly, Qu Bo, who led the team to participate in the Zunyi Cup Invitational tournament, believed that the problem of Chinese youth training still lacked personalized training.
The last time Qu Bo entered the public view, he was in the U18 men’s football team four years ago. However, after witnessing the gap between Thailand and Vietnam, he devoted himself to the field of youth training. Now, Qingdao ROYAL WIND youth club has been established for 6 years. In itself, ROYAL WIND youth club started with youth training. From the very beginning, Qu Bo was relatively strict in training talents. “For example, if a player is very fast, how can he improve his advantage in speed? Some players have better shooting skills, and how can we improve his strengthening in the field of shooting, especially at the technical level?”
“There is one biggest problem that we have to face. While paying attention to the overall development of a team, we lack some individualized training for players or personalized training.”
In short, it is the five elements in the football world: stop, pass, take, pass and shoot. Qu Bo believes that almost all youth training work cannot be separated from these most basic elements. “You have to lay a solid foundation before you can talk about two and one, before you can talk about some partial cooperation and talk about some whole.
“We all say that Japan and South Korea are very strong, and Asia is first-class and very powerful. It is true that people have advanced things, but when they return to the age of 9 and 10, they also practice like this.” Qu Bo said seriously, “they also have to go through this before they can hold the foundation firmly, just like building a house. With the foundation, they can only 1+1=2, 2+2=4……”
In the process of youth training, there must be survival of the fittest. For this reason, Qu Bo gave all players 9 words of motto in the construction of the club, “be a good person, read good books and play well.”
“Of course, there are still quite a few children who may not reach the national font size standard or even the professional standard in the end. He has to do a good job and read the books first.” In this regard, Qu Bo and his team also had plans earlier, “we will go all out to help them go to high school in Qingdao, and then we can play some campus competitions.” In addition, the club also cooperated with Shandong Sports University, “If you can’t play a career, you can send it to the university.” In Qu Bo’s view, this is also a way. “He can play football on behalf of the University team and learn the sports industry at the same time. Including learning coaches, referees, professional managers, and many sports jobs. Then, when you return to the furnace society, you can return to the ROYAL WIND club and continue to play your talents in other fields.”
This time, he joined Zunyi Cup with players of the 13/14 age group. Qu Bo specially invited a track and field coach. “I want to improve the coordination of players first. Some children’s running posture is not very good and formal. Yogueta want to improve, make progress and reach the top level. Coordination must be solved. This is a very helpful skill for his future growth.”
More than that, he specially drew an area in the club base, and painted four small doors on a wide wall. In addition to normal training every day, some players who have strong shooting ability and mainly play in the front court should be arranged separately for an hour of personalized training in this area. There is also a small slope in the base, which is a site for resistance training. “before the age of 13, children are not encouraged to train heavily, mainly for the core. But this kind of resistance training must be available. Because football is still a confrontation project, it is definitely not possible without strength. Before the age of 16, be sure to hold the players’ special skills and basic skills!”
“Do your own job first. In the future, in the history of youth football in ROYAL WIND, even if there is a player playing on behalf of the national team, I will be satisfied and enough.”
“Qingdao has one international player ROYAL WIND, Sun Jihai’s Hi Ball has two, Yao Xia has another one, Jilin Zhenyu has another one, and there are so many professional clubs, is there hope for Chinese youth training? Two or three players in each team have been fully refined in their growth and reached the top level. In addition to the benefits of the club and parents, Chinese football is more beneficial.”
